Gospel singer Lara George has taken a stand against Pastor Paul Enenche, of the Dunamis Church, following his perceived ‘weak’ apology to Anyim Veronica.

Pastor Enenche publicly embarrassed Veronica before his congregation, alleging her testimony to be false. However after evidences were tendered that she graduated, the Pastor tendered an apology.

Enenche in a statement by his secretary, Sylvester Edoh explained that Anyim had been contacted with an apology for berating her testimony in public.

Unimpressed by the church’s response, Lara George emphasized the necessity of a heartfelt apology commensurate with the intensity of the rebuke.

Expressing her discontent on Instagram, she questioned the sincerity of the church’s statement and urged Pastor Enenche to extend a genuine apology to Veronica, rather than brushing the incident under the rug.

Nah! Its not nice. Doesnt matter who you are, we should all treat others as we would like to be treated. She doesnt speak as well as you think she should, therefore you can conclude she is telling a lie? Based on the way she speaks? She wrote on her Instagram page.

Recently, Pastor Paul Enenche and Dr Becky Enenche (Wife), met with Veronica in a closed door meeting.

After the meeting, the law graduate said; I want to inform the whole world that I just had a warm meeting with my spiritual father and mother, Dr Paul Enenche and Dr Becky Enenche.

“I don’t have any grudge against the church or them. I remain committed to serving God as a member of Dunamis church.

Lara George also drew attention to societal issues, pointing out the dangers of making assumptions based on speech patterns and the responsibility of influential figures in shaping societal norms.

Furthermore, George critiqued the disparity in treatment based on social status, suggesting that a more privileged individual would have received a different response.

She underscored the significance of treating everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of their background.

Ultimately, George emphasized that an individual’s character is revealed in how they treat those they perceive as insignificant, calling for a more empathetic and inclusive approach in handling such situations.

“Apologize to her properly. Unequivocally. That write-up that you had your people do, is really an insult on top of her injury. You know this. You would never dare address the matter that way if she was from a wealthy background,” Lara George said.
