Ogunbote remains calm despite Shooting Stars vs Heartland venue change

Gbenga Ogunbote, the technical adviser of Shooting Stars has urged his team to stay focused despite the change in venue for their upcoming match against Heartland on matchday 31.

Originally scheduled to play Heartland in Aba, the Oluyole Warriors will now face a venue change as the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has authorized the Naze Millionaires to return to their home ground in Owerri.

According to the club’s media, Ogunbote conveyed a message to the players expressing his disappointment regarding the venue change, while emphasizing the significance of maintaining focus on the upcoming match.

I want to apologise to you on the change of venue, he told the players as quoted by the clubs media.

In their last match, Shooting Stars claimed a 2-0 win over Lobi Stars, positioning the Ibadan club in fourth place on the NPFL table.
